Summer of 2018, I went to a Bridal Shower Tea and the request was that we all wear hats. Seeing this as an opportunity to make something, I was all in. I decided to do a top hat based on the Tree of Knowledge from the Adam and Eve story.

| So I ordered some apples and blossoms from Michaels. |

I decided that I wanted to paper mache to give the top hat some texture.
Elmer's glue is the best for paper mache. |

so I can keep track of the layers. |

I removed the magnet and hot glued it around the hat. |
Overall, I was happy with the results. If I did this project again, I would probably paint in tree bark texture. It has since been passed along to a friend of a friend for an art project.
