This is a baby quilt I made for our neighbors. I was inspired by Rhoda Dort's string quilt
This was bound with cotton blanket binding. I used fabric from my stash and here is a link for the batting. Each small square was sewn onto cotton muslin for stability.
These past few months, I've gotten very into quilting and patchwork. Here is a sample of what I've made. The Potholders have a layer of Insul-Bright Insulated Lining between the cotton top and bottom for heat protection, I cut them into not quite square shapes and used cotton quilting jelly roll strips to bind them. A Jelly roll is a pre-cut 2.5-inch by 42-inch fabric strips. I bought a bunch of them during mask making during the Covid Quarantine.
