Grinch Tour

Yesterday, I got a text about making some stuff for the second tour of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas". So, I went and looked at the stuff, took pictures and measures and brought some pieces home with me.  Today, while waiting for Hurricane Sandy to come, I worked on the project.  There were some stockings to sew, as well as a soft log.  But, the main assignment was detailing the "Who Doll".

Mustache-ma-ggedon!  I had a picture of the original.  My job was to add eyebrows and a mustache to the second tour "Who Doll".  I sewed the mustache together and hand sewed it on the snout and hand sewed on the eyebrows.  They were cut into shape after attaching.

This shows you the eyebrows and the mustache half cut.

I also made him his Santa jacket and hat.  I patterned off an old version of his costume and tweaked it to be his size.

Here is a close up.  The hat will be cut, to have the ears sticking out.  But, for my purposes, I wanted his hat to look jaunty (and show off his eyebrows!)
